Albert Brooks Mocks NSA Scandal, Obama on Twitter

Filmmaker Albert Brooks hasn’t directed a movie since the underwhelming Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World back in 2005.

He keeps his comic chops sharp via Twitter these days, and in the last 24 hours he’s had a blast with the developing National Security Agency’s spy scandal.

Brooks fired off a series of Tweets mocking not only the NSA for its aggressive domestic snooping but President Barack Obama’s newly tarnished image as well.

The last tweet was automatically deleted by the N.S.A. No threat, just deemed not that funny.

Today Chinese President Xi Jinping said to Obama, “Wow, I thought we had this tapping thing down.

Dear N.S.A.-I only googled “bomb” because I wanted to see what time After Earth was playing.

I’ve been telling anyone who listens, TMobile spies for half the cost.
