Judd Apatow Rails Against NSA, Obama Over Spying Scandal

Judd Apatow, the man behind such R-rated hits as The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up and Superbad, is as reliably left of center as most Hollywood denizens.

The current headlines surrounding the National Security Agency’s aggressive domestic spying program have Apatow treating both the NSA and President Barack Obama like, well, Republicans.

Apatow, whose bawdy comedies often take a pro-family stance, tweeted or retweeted the following messages over the last three days:

they warned me this would happen if I voted for Romney, and they were right.

What is this, North Korea? We are so inundated with so much info and so many problems – we have given up caring.

Did everyone forget Nixon! ….Enemy of the State….did you see that movie? “Who is going to monitor the monitors?”

So if President adopts a new policy for waging aggressive cyber-war & using cyber-attacks domestically, you want to remain ignorant of it?
