Group Hits Kanye West for Lyric Mocking Parkinson's Disease Patients

Kanye West may have to interrupt his duties as a new father to calm a controversy over his latest album.

Yeezus, the much-hyped disc which dropped June 18, features a song with a line that one group found insulting to those suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

The song in question is called “On Sight” — which includes the lyric, “A monster about to come alive again / Soon as I pull up and park the Benz / We get this bitch shaking like Parkinson’s.” 

The American Parkinson Disease Association called the line “distasteful” and a “product of obvious ignorance.”
