New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who some say sabotaged Mitt Romney’s election chances by chumming it up with President Barack Obama after Hurricane Sandy, is going to appear as himself on the new Michael J. Fox Show later this year.
Christie has spent much time courting the liberal media, and his appearance on TV is another step in that direction.
The sitcom gig comes on the heels of his self-aggrandizingly appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. That show let him rationalize his decision to call for an early special election to fill the seat of the deceased Sen. Frank Lautenberg, rather than an election on the same ballot as the gubernatorial race, which would bring out more Democrats and hinder his chances at a huge victory.
