A new four-hour miniseries based of Hillary Clinton’s life during the era from her tenure as First Lady to her tenure as Secretary of State is planned by NBC.
The miniseries will star Diane Lane, said NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt, and be written and directed by Courtney Hunt.
Greenblatt said that the viability of the project depends on whether Hillary runs for president in 2016 or chooses to eschew running.
He said, “We have to think about the timing of it. She’s probably not going to declare her candidacy for two more years. This could well have aired before that.”
