The Duck Dynasty shows no sign of crumbling.
The Aug. 14 premiere of the reality show’s fourth season became the number one nonfiction series telecast in cable history with 11.8 million viewers, according to A&E.
The episode was also watched by 6.3 million adults in the 18-49 bracket and 3 million adults ages 18-34, that made it the number one series telecast in network history among all key demos.
“Thanks to its authentic and engaging characters ‘Duck Dynasty’ has become more than just a reality show, it is a cultural phenomenon,” said David McKillop, General Manager and Executive Vice President of A&E.
The new season’s premiere grew the show’s audience by 37 percent.
