Director Oliver Stone is an equal opportunity critic of the U.S. He’ll blast his homeland no matter what political party is in power and side with other countries against U.S. policies.
So that means he’s taking President Barack Obama to task again with words usually reserved for dictators and thugs.
Stone is incensed over Obama’s NSA domestic spying programs and attacking Edward Snowden’s leaks.
Obama is a snake,” Stone told the journalists in Tokyo. “He’s a snake. And we have to turn on him.”
Stone said Snowden sacrificed himself for the good of the country and praised Russia for giving Snowden asylum.
“I think (Russian President Vladimir) Putin did the right thing, and I’m proud of him for doing it,” he said. “We need more countries to stand up to the U.S.
