'Butler' Stars Oprah Winfrey, Forest Whitaker March on Washington

Two of the biggest stars from Lee Daniels’ The Butler, Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey, are joining the March on Washington today to honor Martin Luther King, Jr.’s historic civil rights protest.

Whitaker and Winfrey, who has been peddling, and then back-tracking on racism claims in recent weeks, will be joined by fellow actor Jamie Foxx.

Today marks the 50th anniversary of King’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

The Butler explores America’s racial injustices through the decades. Foxx’s 2012 hit Django Unchained featured an escaped slave out to free his love from a vicious plantation owner.
