Baldwin: Film Business 'Fetid Septic Tank'

In an interview with the Associated Press, new MSNBC host and 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin bashed the movie industry that made him famous, suggesting, “All the fun of it is gone….You see in the business this fetid septic tank filled with all these people, and then you turn around and there’s Bertolucci, there’s Scorsese.”

Baldwin did profess optimism about up and coming directors, including Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave), Alexander Payne (Election), Wes Anderson (Rushmore), and Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will Be Blood).
