Katy Perry to 'Naked' Pop Starlets: 'Put It Away'

Katy Perry can hardly be described as a demure pop princess.

The singer is known for her outlandish attire, her curvy figure and songs like I Kissed a Girl.

Even Perry has had enough of the current crop of singers who bare almost all they can bare to get attention. She vented on the issue, without naming names, during an interview with NPR.

I’m not talking about anyone in particular. I’m talking about all of them. I mean, it’s like everybody’s so naked,” Perry told host Scott Simon. “It’s like put it away. We know you’ve got it. I got it, too.

Perry also addressed her own hypocrisy on the matter.

I’ve taken it out here and there. And I’m not necessarily judging. I’m just saying sometimes it’s nice to play that card, but also it’s nice to play other cards,” she said.
