In the wake of news that a man with a rifle shot and killed a TSA agent Friday, celebrities have taken to Twitter to blame the NRA and call for stricter gun control.

Twitchy.com pulled the following tweets together:

Comedian Eric Idle [pictured] said he wondered how the NRA would spin the shooting, Adding, “Ban all guns….then join the rest of the world.”

Sally Jesse Raphael tweeted: “Isn’t it time for stricter gun control?”

“How I Met Your Mother” co-creator tweeted that we should implement gun control and give it chance before we criticize it.

And “Hunger Games” actor Ian Nelson summed up his sentiments succinctly by saying the “NRA should be ashamed.”
