Actor Gary Sinise plans to wrap 2103 the way he spends much of his free time in any given year–entertaining the men and women who serve in the U.S. Military.
The former CSI:NY star’s Lt. Dan Band rocked D.C.’s Constitution Hall earlier this week, a USO-sponsored concert to help those impacted by the Sept. 16 Navy Yard shooting.
It’s an honor for Gary Sinise to invite all the Navy Yard families to come and celebrate and to smile and laugh,” said Wanda Wallace, sister of one of the Navy Yard shooting victims.
Next up this month for Sinise’s 12-piece rock band–concerts in San Diego, Dallas for Snowball Express and San Antonio to raise funds for home-building efforts.
The versatile star routinely squeezes in gigs between his various acting assignments. Here’s Sinise discussing his foundation which creates and supports “unique programs designed to entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen, and build communities.”
“You can never do enough for our veterans and our defenders,” Sinise says in the video.
