'Partridge Family' Manager Dave Madden Dead at 82

FRUIT COVE, Fla., Jan. 16 (UPI)–Former “Partridge Family” cast member Dave Madden died of congestive heart and kidney failure in Florida Thursday morning, TMZ reported.

He was 82.

The Canadian-born actor was best known for playing band manager Reuben Kincaid on the 1970s sitcom.

Madden, who also appeared on the sketch comedy program “Laugh-In,” was the author of several books, including a memoir published in 2007.

His other credits include “Alice,” “Charlotte’s Web” and “Camp Runamuck Counselor.”
