FOX marketers knew that introducing the hashtag #JackIsBack to social media wouldn’t need much of an explanation.
Just in case, the network debuted our first look at 24: Live Another Day during Sunday’s Super Bowl telecast. Jack Bauer, the counter terrorism agent memorably played by Kiefer Sutherland over eight seasons, is heading back to prime time.
The teaser shows a multi-pronged terrorist attack on British soil. Soon, we see Jack Bauer and his feisty colleague Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub) walking through the chaos. Slowly, Jack raises a gun and starts firing … and screaming.
Jack is back, and conservatives can only hope the show’s politically incorrect manner of taking down fictional terrorists hasn’t been altered in the reboot.
24: Live Another Day debuts May 5.
