Actor Tom Sizemore, the man who reportedly described a year-long affair between President Bill Clinton and actress Elizabeth Hurley during a taped audio conversation, now says he has no knowledge of such a coupling.
Sizemore has battled addiction issues for years and once served time on battery charges. He spoke to HuffPost Live Wednesday to clear up the matter, apologize to the parties involved and blame his past drug use for telling the tall tale.
Sizemore admitted Wednesday he “was never at the White House” and has “never met Bill Clinton.”
“I’m not denying that I said these things,” he said. “I don’t remember saying them, but it’s an old videotape, and they’re the rantings of a guy … it’s been well-chronicled that I had a very severe drug problem.
RadarOnline.com, the site which first reported the news, says the audio recording in question was made last month. Sizemore, who says he sobered up in 2009, says the audio must be several years old.
