Obama to Talk Climate Change on Showtime's 'Years of Living Dangerously' Finale

Showtime’s docu-series Years of Living Dangerously gathered a who’s who of eco-celebrities to alarm viewers regarding the impact of climate change.

Matt Damon. Harrison Ford. Don Cheadle. James Cameron.

Now, the pay cable has recruited the Celebrity-in-Chief himself to personally push the panic button.

President Barack Obama will be interviewed by liberal columnist Thomas L. Friedman on the miniseries’ final installment, set to air at 8 p.m. EST tonight.

Obama and Friedman will explore how climate change, according to Showtime, “can be a stressor that can take a volatile political situation and push it over the edge.”

Last month, Obama claimed that the battle against climate change was just as important as preventing terrorists from getting their hands on nuclear weapons.
