Over the weekend Demi Moore gave her daughter, Rumer Willis, a cake shaped like a gun for her 26th birthday.
Written beside the gun-shaped cake were the words, “Bang, Bang!” in all caps, bright red.
According to Guns.com, Rumer responded to the cake by saying: “Best birthday cake ever. Thank you mama for making this day…[so] special.”
There was no word on why the cake was shaped like a gun or whether that speaks to gun support on the part of Moore or her daughter.
Rumer’s father, actor Bruce Willis, is certainly pro-gun and was outspoken against gun control during the push to pass more gun laws following the heinous crime at Sandy Hook Elementary.
Newsmax reported that Willis told the AP: “It’s a difficult thing and I really feel bad for those families. I’m a father and it’s just a tragedy. But I don’t know how you legislate insanity. I don’t know what you do about it. I don’t even know how you begin to stop that.”
Willis continued: “I think that you can’t start to pick apart anything in the Bill of Rights without thinking that it’s all going to become undone. If you take one out or change one law, then why wouldn’t they take all your rights away from you?”
