'Full House' Revival to Feature John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 26 (UPI)–A Full House revival is in the works at Warner Bros. Television.

Original series creator Jeff Franklin will write the script, and stars John Stamos (Uncle Jesse), Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) are on board. Executive producer Bob Boyett and cast members Bob Saget (Danny Tanner) and Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) are also involved.

Full House aired for eight seasons on ABC, from 1987 to 1995. The series follows widowed father Danny Tanner as he raises his three daughters, D.J., Stephanie and Michelle, with the help of best friend Joey and brother-in-law Jesse. It is unclear if Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who took turns portraying Michelle, will return for the revival.
