'Sons of Guns' Canceled after Star Arrested for Child Rape

The Discovery Channel has canceled and halted production on “Sons of Guns” after the series star, William Hayden, was arrested in Louisiana for aggravated rape.

The gunmaker has been accused of repeatedly raping his 11-year-old daughter for more than a year. This is his second arrest this year. In August, Hayden was arrested for molesting a juvenile and “crimes against nature.”

According to local media reports, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s office rep Casey Hicks said that during investigation at the time of the first arrest, “we received more information that these rapes allegedly occurred from March 2013 to July 2014 of our victim who was 11 and then later 12-years-old at the time,” and the victim told police the alleged acts occurred almost daily, but she did not report them because of threats Hayden made.

Hollywood supporters of Roman Polanski were not available for comment.
