Michelle Obama is scheduled to host the White House’s first-ever fashion education workshop on Oct. 8, and let’s hope she’s not picking out the President’s golf attire.
The First Lady has chosen to shift her attention away from promoting fitness and health for America’s youth temporarily, instead helping high school and college fashionistas find direction in the fashion world.
Attendees will be traveling from Washington D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York to gain first-hand knowledge from the first lady about how to succeed in the industry.
FLOTUS will host the five-hour event, along with a panel of notable designers, that will engage the students with individual workshops to be followed by a healthy lunch.
Let’s hope that the recruits are a little more satisfied with the wardrobe choices than they are with Obama’s school lunch menu.
