Mexican officials reportedly want Miley Cyrus prosecuted and fined for disrespecting their national symbol on Mexican Independence Day.
The former Disney star was engaging in one of her infamous “twerking” episodes while promoting the “Bangerz” tour in Monterrey, Mexico this past Tuesday when, suddenly, a dancer smacked her prosthetic butt with a Mexican flag.
Cyrus didn’t seem phased, judging from her social media activity during her Mexico visit.

Neuvo Leon state officials are not pleased and demand that she be rightfully punished, which could mean a 36-hour jail sentence along with a $1,200 fine.
