J.Lo Released 'Booty' when Her 6-Year-Olds Called It a Hit

Jennifer Lopez said she was too morally confounded to tackle “Booty” until her six-year-old children convinced her that it would be a hit.

The pop singer’s decision to objectify herself was challenging at first, because she apparently didn’t want to promote lyrics that portray the female body so provocatively.

“When I first heard the song, I didn’t want to do the song. For the same reasons everybody else thought, you know, it’s reducing myself to something, it’s just about the booty and all that,” she told Access Hollywood. 

Lopez claimed that she played the track for her twins Max and Emme, both six-years-old, and they loved it. 

“I was ready to throw it into the garbage. I said, ‘You know what, this is a fun song,'” she confessed.

The 45-year-old video vixen insisted that her lyrics “Mesmerized by the size of it…Throw up your hands if you love a big booty” are actually uplifting and empowering to women. 

“Why after a certain age you have to stop having fun or being sexy or you have to stop living?… this is good for women,” she said.

JLO dropped the track below in March, entitled “I Luh You Papi,” which she exclusively designed to objectify men and to speak out about how women are degraded in “every single video.”
