Fox is developing an action drama that would revolve around the first group of female U.S. soldiers vying to earn a spot in the world’s toughest combat unit, the Navy SEALs, reports Deadline.

Arrow co-executive producer Wendy Mericle is writing the untitled project, which will be produced by Thunder Road Television and Warner Bros.

The project, which was pitched and will be developed and overseen by Thunder Road Executive Vice President Kent Kubena, will reportedly take place on Coronado Island.

Last summer, the Pentagon unveiled a plan to allow women to enter SEAL and Army Ranger training. According to the plan, Naval Base Coronado would welcome the first women in 2016.

The United States Navy also promoted a woman, Michelle Howard, to the rank of a four-star Admiral for the first time in its 238-year history in July.
