REPORT: Whitney Houston’s Daughter Abused Heroin, Cocaine

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, had used hard drugs prior to being found unresponsive in a bathtub, according to a report from People.

The 21-year-old was found by her boyfriend Nick Gordon in the bathroom of her Georgia home last month, similar to the manner in which her mother was found three years ago.

According to reports, Brown had been abusing heroin, cocaine, and Xanax in the months prior to her hospitalization, and was intoxicated the morning of the incident.

A source told People that Bobbi Kristina was distraught over the upcoming third anniversary of her mother’s death, and has been in and out of rehab since the event.

“This girl was trying hard, but she didn’t have any support system,” the source told People. “She was still dealing with a lot of grief over her mother.”

Singer Whitney Houston, after a long and public battle with drug abuse, was found dead in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills, CA hotel in February of 2012. Reports stated that Xanax was found in her system.

Houston had also battled an addiction to cocaine.

Bobbi Kristina Brown remains on life support in a medically induced coma at an Atlanta hospital, while authorities investigate the events leading up to her hospitalization.
