Two people were struck by gunfire Saturday night after shots rang out inside a Charlotte, NC, nightclub during a promotional event for rappers T.I., Yo Gotti, and Young Jeezy, police told USA Today.

The incident reportedly occurred at around 7 p.m. at Label club in Charlotte, where a witness told the paper the hip-hop figures were on stage during the shooting but escaped unharmed.

Entertainment blogger Selena Alexander told USA TODAY, “It was packed… Two distinct gunshots rang out… The artists were immediately rushed out.”

A Charlotte-Mecklenburg law enforcement official also spoke to the paper but gave few details about the incident.

“Two people injured with gunshot wounds,” Captain J.D. Thomas said. “One person drove themselves to the hospital and one person was transported by ambulance. Both are non-life-threatening injuries.”

Police have yet to release any suspect descriptions or motives and have not released the identities of the two victims, only stating that one was female.

TMZ has obtained raw video of the shooting, which shows rapper Yo Gotti dancing on stage at the time of the shooting.
