President Obama will make his 21st visit to Southern California since the 2008 election cycle later this month wherein he will sit down with Jimmy Kimmel and attend a fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee.

This will be the first time the commander-in-chief will sit down with Kimmel in person. His first interview was via satellite in June 2008, shortly after grabbing the nomination of the Democrats after Hillary Clinton’s exit from the race.

Obama was initially scheduled for an appearance on the ABC talk show last spring, but cancelled after Malaysia Flight 370 went missing.

During his 2008 satellite appearance, Obama informed Kimmel of his plans to replace the bowling alley in the White House with a basketball court.

The President is also the headliner for the scheduled fundraiser, which will reportedly cost $33,400 per couple to attend, and will be held at ICM Partners co-founder Chris Silberman’s house.

According to Deadline, in all of Obama’s visits to SOCAL, only three have not been to accept donations from the Hollywood elite.

His last venture to Tinseltown was in October, when he attended another fundraiser hosted by actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Actor Sean Penn is slated to appear as a guest on Kimmel the same night as the President.
