Livestream: Call of Duty Championship Begins Today

The top 32 teams in the world will compete this weekend in the third-annual Call of Duty Championship, beginning Friday at 2 PM PDT in Los Angeles.

Teams will engage in multiplayer battles playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare throughout the weekend for the e-sports Call of Duty crown. The final match will be livecast on Xbox Live at 2 PM PDT on Sunday, March 29.

Viewers can also see the premiere of live gameplay on new maps from the upcoming Ascendance expansion for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, as well as a new trailer for “Infected,” the next chapter for Advanced Warfare‘s Exo Zombies co-operative mode, which will be included in the Ascendance DLC.

Four different livestreams of various competing teams can be viewed starting Friday at 2 PM PDT. The final match on Sunday, March 29 will be broadcast on the Xbox Live Dashboard. $1,000,000 in prizes will be awarded by the tournament’s end, with the winning team taking home $400,000 and awards ranging from $200,000 to $25,000 being distributed to the 2nd through 8th place finishers.
