Pop singer Katy Perry may have become the fool herself on April 1 by inadvertently giving out her cell phone number to 86 million followers on both Instagram and Twitter.
The “I Kissed a Girl” singer shared a post of her dog Butters without realizing his identification tag gave fans and other followers a clear view of her phone number.
In a video that has since been deleted, Perry wrote of the hound: “B–CH BETTER HAVE MY MONEY IF B–CH WANTS SAUSAGES!” Which is a likely reference to Rihanna’s new single, which is titled “B–ch Better Have My Money.”
According to E! News, Perry deleted the video and deactivated the phone number after fans began to point out her error.
Some of them tried their best to protect the singer from unwanted phone calls:
If you love Katy then don't call that number. Be a good person.
