Former View co-host Rosie O’Donnell’s divorce from estranged wife Michelle Rounds is growing less amicable, and now information from court documents is shedding light on why Rounds is asking for full custody of the pair’s two-year-old daughter.

According to TMZ, the former executive search consultant, Rosie’s second wife, claims in court documents that O’Donnell is often neglectful to the child, due to her lazy parenting philosophy and her abuse of both alcohol and marijuana.

The entertainment and gossip site reports Rounds is claiming that O’Donnell not only drinks a bottle of wine nearly every night, but also regularly indulges in recreational marijuana use, both in the form of smoking the plant, and through eating THC infused snacks.

While Rosie apparently has hired nannies for the hard stuff, Michelle reportedly feels it is necessary for her to help out, but says she is living off in her own world.

Additionally Rounds also claims Rosie has previously permitted their 19-year-old son to throw parties where minors are then allowed to consume alcohol, which she believes to be irresponsible, TMZ reports.

Tuesday, it was reported Rounds is asking a New York court for full custody of 2-year-old Dakota, due to concerns over the toddler’s welfare.

William D. London, Michelle’s attorney confirmed to the Page Six Tuesday, “My client Michelle Rounds has decided to start proceedings for sole custody of their daughter Dakota, since it is unequivocally in their child’s best interest and general welfare.”

A spokeswoman for O’Donnell fired back: “This is an absurd and desperate attempt to use a child for her [Rounds’] own gain,” Cindi Berger said.

Michelle told TMZ she became a millionaire through investments prior to entering into a relationship with Rosie, and said, “I will walk away from every dime of Rosie’s money if I get full custody.”

A representative for O’Donnell then told the site, “This is a distorted perception of Michelle’s reality. It’s sad in every way.”

The couple called it quits last November after three years of marriage, and had been living apart for months. They adopted Dakota together during their marriage and signed a prenuptial agreement before their 2012 nuptials.

Just weeks after ending her second stint of The View in February, O’Donnell filed for divorce from Rounds, saying: “My health got a little bit worse right before the holidays — my doctor was kind of concerned… I can’t really fix my personal life right away, but I can fix my job.”
