Enrique Iglesias sings his smash hit “I Like How it Feels” on his 2015 “Sex and Love” world tour, but the pop star probably didn’t like the way it felt when he grabbed a drone during a concert over the weekend and seriously injured his fingers.

According to the Associated Press, Iglesias was performing at the Plaza de Toros de Playas in Tijuana, Mexico, Saturday night when he grabbed a drone that was hovering over the stage and badly sliced his fingers. The singer was reportedly “semi-treated” on the side of the stage, and then performed for an additional 30 minutes after the accident.

“During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a Point of View shot,” a rep for Iglesias said in a statement. “Something went wrong and he had an accident. He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show.”

The rep added that Iglesias was “rushed to the airport, where an ambulance met him there. He was then put on a plane to L.A. to see a specialist.”

Images uploaded to social media showed Iglesias performing with his hand wrapped in a bloodied bandage. The singer’s white T-shirt was also stained with blood.

Iglesias’s “Sex and Love” world tour continues in Mexico City on July 3. That should give him plenty of time to recover.
