VIDEO: Young Anakin Skywalker’s 100 MPH Police Chase

Jake Lloyd, who played young Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequel films, was arrested last week after leading South Carolina police on a high-speed highway chase.

Now, video of the incident has been acquired by TMZ:

Police told the outlet that Lloyd hit speeds up to 117 mph as he was driving in Charleston, South Carolina on Wednesday.

The video appears to show Lloyd using the highway median to pass cars, swerving in and out of traffic and kicking up large dust clouds along the way. The former child actor apparently loses control of his car and skids off the highway, where he reportedly crashed through a gate and into a tree.

Lloyd was arrested on charges of reckless driving, resisting arrest, failure to stop and driving without a license.

Lloyd was 10 years old when he played young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars, Episode I: The Phantom Menace. His last film credit was a small part in 2005 sports drama Madison.
