Warner Bros. has stopped selling the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight on Steam due to customer complaints over the broken state of the game.
In a post released on June 24, 2015, the publisher stated that it is responding to consumer input on both the Steam and official Batman: Arkham Knight community forums, in addition to feedback filed under Customer Support. Warner Bros. also mentioned that gamers can obtain a refund through Steam or at the retail outlet where they bought the game if they do not wish to wait for the PC version to be fixed.
Besides the 30 frames-per-second lock, a problem which Breitbart has addressed, graphic effects in Batman: Arkham Knight slow down the game. Few settings can be changed to turn these effects off in favor of game performance. Additionally, even when running on top settings, the game’s graphics are below those of the PlayStation 4 version, with rain effects seen in the console version of the game being absent from the PC release.
