R&B singer Rihanna has taken a page out of the hip-hop music video playbook with her latest single, as the spot features drugs, full nudity, gore, and according to Complex, a possible real-life murder fantasy.

The 27-year-old star has made her directorial debut, and Wednesday a video for the track “Bitch Better Have My Money” was released.

Dependent upon your feelings of the aforementioned subject matter, the video is pretty shocking.

In seven minutes, Rihanna and a group of mostly naked female accomplices carry out a gruesome murder plot against a woman and an accountant; and the star created the idea all by herself, she says.

“Ya girl got director skillz!!! The concept for this piece came to me 8 months ago!!! So you can imagine how anxious I am right now!!! Rhianna wrote on her Instagram page Wednesday.

Complex reports the singer filed a lawsuit against her then accountant, Peter Gournis of Berdon LLP, in 2012. The suit alleged that Gournis was to blame for the loss of millions of dollars for Rihanna in 2009, when her net worth dropped from $11 million to $2 million by the end of the year.

The two parties later settled out of court, but the singer might not have forgotten.

The Verge reports Rihanna has also now been named the most successful artist in terms of single downloads and streams, according to new figures from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
