Rapper T.I. says both the country and the world are not ready for a female president – and so he won’t be casting his vote for Democrat frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

In an interview with DJ Whoo Kid (Waka Flocka Flame’s running mate) on Sirius XM’s Shade 45, T.I., real name Clifford Harris, said he cannot vote for Clinton because women have a propensity for making decisions based on emotion.

“Not to be sexist, but I can’t vote for the leader of the free world to be a woman,” the “About the Money” rapper said.

“Just because, every other position that exists, I think a woman could do well. But the president? It’s kinda like, I just know that women make rash decisions emotionally. They make permanent, cemented decisions, and then later, it’s kind of like it didn’t happen, or they didn’t mean for it to happen.”

“And I sure would hate to just set off a nuke… [Other world leaders] will not be able to negotiate the right kinds of foreign policy: the world ain’t ready yet. I think you might be able to get the Loch Ness monster elected before you could [get a woman].”

The Atlanta-based Grammy-winning rapper, who voted for Obama twice, also said that Republican contender and businessman Donald Trump could be “beneficial” for the country, but he will not consider voting for him.

“His racist remarks and all of his off-color statements and all that sh*t makes it impossible to be completely supportive of him,” T.I. said. “But just knowing what he’s done for business for himself, if he intends to do that for America, it would be beneficial. But I can’t cash no vote for him.”

T.I. later apologized for his comments on twitter:

T.I. joins a number of other rappers who have already made their endorsements (or non-endorsements) for the 2016 presidential race. In May, Snoop Dogg announced he would support Clinton for president because “we’re at that stage in life where we need a perspective other than the male’s train of thought.” Waka Flocka Flame and Pharrell Williams have also similarly endorsed Clinton.
