Ben Stiller returns as the world’s most clueless supermodel in Zoolander 2, which got its first extended trailer on Wednesday.
When a shady organization begins targeting the world’s most beautiful people for assassination, Derek Zoolander must re-team with fellow over-the-hill model Hansel (Owen Wilson) to eliminate the threat.
The new trailer features plenty of celebrity firepower: Justin Bieber, Kristen Wiig, and Benedict Cumberbatch are all on board, while Will Ferrell reprises his role as the nefarious Mugatu, and Penelope Cruz joins this installment as a “hot” Interpol agent.
Ben Stiller directs off of a script written by himself, Justin Theroux, Nicholas Stoller, and John Hamburg.
Stiller and Wilson did some guerilla marketing for the film back in March, when they strutted down the catwalk in character for Valentino at Paris Fashion Week.
The first Zoolander film performed modestly at the box office upon its release in 2001, but subsequently became a cult classic on home video.
