Former Power Rangers actor Ricardo Medina Jr. has officially been charged with the murder of his roommate.

A representative of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office told to Us Weekly magazine Thursday Jan. 14 that Medina, 36, has been arrested and charged with the murder of Joshua Sutter, also 36.

Medina was first arrested in February of 2015, after he and Sutter got into an argument over Medina’s girlfriend at the residence the two men shared in Green Valley, California.

The actor allegedly stabbed Sutter several times in the abdomen with a sword.

Sutter was rushed to a Los Angeles area hospital with multiple stab wounds, where he later died.

According to Us Weekly, Medina is scheduled to be arraigned at the Antelope Valley Branch of the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, January 19.

If convicted, he could face up to 26 years in prison.

Medina first appeared as the Red Ranger on Power Rangers Wild Force in 2002. He later played the character Dekker on Power Rangers Samurai.
