Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry is in stable condition at a New York hospital after collapsing onstage during a concert with his side project, the rock band Hollywood Vampires, on Sunday night.
Perry, 65, was midway through the second song of his set with fellow band members Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp at the Coney Island Amphitheater when he sat down on the drum platform mid-song, then appeared to stumble behind an amplifier and collapse.
The incident was caught on video by attendees:
Perry was taken to Coney Island Hospital and was later transferred to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, according to ABC News.
According to his official Twitter account, the musician is in stable condition and is resting in the hospital.
Thanks to all of the fans reaching out and asking about Joe. He is stable right now, with family and is under the best care.

Depp and Cooper reportedly finished out the concert with other guitarists taking Perry’s spot, though the band did not return for an encore.
Hollywood Vampires are scheduled to continue their tour on Tuesday night in Kettering, Ohio. No word yet on whether Perry will play the concert or whether it will be cancelled.
