May 17 (UPI) — Popular sitcom Arrested Development will return for Season 5 on Netflix.

The streaming service confirmed in a press release Wednesday that Jason Bateman will reprise Michael Bluth in a 15-episode fifth season in 2018.

“In talks with Netflix, we all felt that stories about a narcissistic, erratically behaving family in the building business — and their desperate abuses of power — are really underrepresented on TV these days,” series creator Mitchell Hurwitz said, poking fun at President Donald Trump.

“I am so grateful to them and to 20th TV for making this dream of mine coming true in bringing the Bluths, George Sr., Lucille and the kids; Michael, Ivanka, Don Jr., Eric, George-Michael, and who am I forgetting, oh Tiffany. Did I say Tiffany? — back to the glorious stream of life,” he added.

Arrested Development initially had a three-season run on Fox from 2003 to 2006, and was revived for a fourth season on Netflix in 2013. The show stars Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Portia de Rossi, David Cross, Michael Cera and Ali Shawkat.

“It’s a testament to the brilliance of Mitch’s creation, the passion of his audience, and the love his cast holds in their hearts for his writing and characters that we have been able to ‘get the band back together’ not once but twice since the Emmy-winning original run,” Fox Television Group CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman lauded.

Bateman had hinted at the show’s revival last week.

“Look very probable I’m going to put some miles on the Stair Car this summer. Just officially signed on to more ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT today,” he tweeted Friday.
