Actor Terry Crews claimed Sunday that music mogul Russell Simmons asked him to give a “pass” to the powerful Hollywood talent agent the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine star” accused of groping him.

Crews, who claimed that agent Adam Venit, head of WME’s Motion Picture Group, groped him during an event in Hollywood last year, tweeted a photo of an email conversation which purportedly shows Simmons asking the actor to give Venit a “pass.”

“Message Russell Simmons sent to me regarding my sexual assault case against Adam Venit of @WME,” Crews captioned the tweet, which included a screenshot of what appears to be an email from Simmons.

“Did he ever apologize,” reads the Nov. 3 email Simmons purportedly sent to Crews. “Give the agent a pass .. ask that he be reinstated.” Simmons signed off: “With great love, all things are possible.”

Last week, Crews filed a police report with the LAPD over the alleged assault, and told TMZ that he plans to file a lawsuit as well. Venit was placed on leave earlier this month, following an investigation into the alleged assault.

The 49-year-old star told Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan last week that the allegedly “overtly sexual” encounter with Venit was unrelenting and horrifying.

Crews’ tweet revealing the conversation with Simmons, came as the Los Angeles Times reported that model Keri Claussen Khalighi accused the Hollywood super-producer of sexually assaulting her in 1991 at his New York City apartment when she was 17-years-old. Simmons “completely and unequivocally” denied Khalighi’s claim.

Simmons is now the latest major Hollywood figure to be accused of misconduct amid mounting allegations against A-list stars.
