A-list actor and heavyweight comedian Kevin Hart has been widely mocked after trying to crash the Philadelphia Eagles’ trophy ceremony after they won Sunday night’s Super Bowl against the New England Patriots.

Kevin Hart, a proud Philadelphia native, was blocked by security guards as he tried to force his way into the Eagles’ celebrations after they won the game 41-33, following a thrilling contest in Minneapolis. Footage from the incident showed him vehemently protesting with security guards, although he was ultimately unsuccessful.

However, Hart did manage to crash the television post-match interview with Eagles player Fletcher Cox, where he used an expletive.

“Philadelphia’s a great city,” Hart said on live television. “I thought, I hope this is an example of what we can do. We gave a f–k … ooh.

“I’ve been drinking, I’m on cloud 9,” he told hosts moments before his outburst.

The comedian, who is a long time fan of the Eagles having been born and raised in Philadelphia, was widely mocked for his antics.

Despite the exciting spectacle a large number of America did not watch last night’s encounter, citing the many NFL players who refused to stand to honor the country during the playing of the national anthem.
