No Holiday Break for Classless Celebrities & Media Bias: The Ebert, Behar, Mediaite Thanksgiving Edition

Over on his Twitter account Roger Ebert is giving thanks for another’s misfortune. Yep, this is what the Pilgrims were all about:

And on Thanksgiving-eve, Joyless Behar trotted out a blackhearted troika of bitter hens to heap scorn on Bristol Palin, including the labeling of the young single mother as a “hooker.” Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you, modern feminism in action. Oh, you’ve come a long way ladies:

Meanwhile, over at Mediaite, or as we watchers of the media now call it — GetPaliniaite — a major media presence like Joy Behar chuckling along while one of her guests calls a politician’s child a “hooker” is somehow less important than the site’s editor re-running a two year-old clip that only Palin-hating Leftists thought was a story to begin with.

On Twitter, Mediaite writer Tommy Christopher explained that the Palin clip was a major media figure’s iconic Thanksgiving moment and therefore still newsworthy. And yet, somehow, this iconic Thanksgiving flashback involving a major media figure didn’t make the cut.

Bitterly mean-spirited film writers – check.

Cruel celebs classly trashing women who dare think for themselves – check.

Ridiculously biased media watchers – check.

Good to know the spirit of the holiday is forever immune to our favorite usual suspects who just can’t even give it a rest, if only for a day.
