There was a lot of discussion of this around the blogosphere as to whether or not ABC would air a video that, if Eric Fuller and Trent Humphries’ positions were reversed and a tea partier threatened someone who is obviously not a tea partier, would get mega-play on the airwaves. Some wondered aloud if they should rally others to pressure ABC to show what happened in its entirety, to let the truth play out, but it was for naught: ABC did air the clip and made it available online as well.
Many are giving Fuller a pass by saying that he’s “stressed.”
Fuller’s actions could be a response to the trauma he suffered a week ago, said Dr. Laura Nelson, deputy director for the behavioral health sciences division at the Arizona Department of Health.“Grief after what happened here in Tucson last week is a completely normal reaction, and … anger is a very common symptom of grief,” said Nelson …
Olbermann didn’t have a problem with Fuller’s original remarks blaming the tea party without evidence and seems surprised that the current media climate may have contributed to ratcheting up the remarks to a full-blown threat.

“It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle and the rest got their first target. Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilled.” (4:32)
See if you can follow the logic: According to Olby & Co., Jared Loughner isn’t responsible for his own actions. Sarah Palin and the teabaggers are, despite a complete lack of evidence that there’s any connection. Whereas Eric Fuller is responsible for his own actions, despite parroting the same crap that the professional left has been spouting for a solid week.
