Memo to Godless MSM: What Cain Sang Was Not 'Amazing Grace'

—–

How godless do you have to be to not know that “Amazing Grace” doesn’t sound anything like what Cain sang?

Pretty damn godless.

I rest my case.

The song Cain sang is called ‘He Looked Beyond my Faults‘:

Amazing grace will always be my song of praise

For it was grace that brought me liberty.

I can not know just why He came to love me so;

He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary

To view the cross where Jesus died for me.

How marvelous that grace that caught my falling soul;

He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary

To view the cross where Jesus died for me.

How marvelous that grace that caught my falling soul;

He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

“Amazing Grace” isn’t just some obscure spiritual we bitter clingers share amongst ourselves. It’s as much a part of the mainstream American culture as “Rock Around the Clock.”

But that explains it, doesn’t it? What would these Liberal Arts, J-school bubble boys and girls know about mainstream American culture or mainstream American faith?
