Dennis Prager's Peanut Butter Confiscated by Secret Service at Republican Convention

Conservative talk radio icon Dennis Prager had a jar of peanut butter confiscated by the U.S. Secret Service on his way into the Republican National Convention this morning, according to eyewitnesses on the scene.

Prager apparently attracted the attention of officers because the peanut butter was in a glass jar, evidently posing a potential threat.

Meanwhile, in the adjacent security line, Breitbart News Managing Editor Alex Marlow succeeded in smuggling in several portions of kosher pizza for Breitbart News Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro. Like Prager, Shapiro is an observant Jew, preventing speculation by Rabbis for Obama that Prager had been singled out by Republicans for his faith. The pizza had been transported inside several clear, sealed Ziploc plastic sandwich bags.

Prager appeared surprised that he had been stopped, but chose not to protest the seizure of the peanut butter. Officials indicated that he had cooperated fully with their investigation, and did not appear to be considering further action with regard to the contraband peanut butter. Prager could not be reached for further comment.
