CNN Panelist Calls Romney a 'Douche' Twice

***UPDATE: Van Jones just did an awkward CNN walk-on to apologize to Mitt Romney.

During the second half of the 4PM Eastern hour on CNN’s “Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer,” Obama’s former Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones, referred to GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney as a “douche” twice — on the air.

The moment came during a political panel hosted by CNN’s senior political analyst Gloria Borger. Other panelists included former Bush White House spokesman Ari Fleischer and former GOP Congressman JC Watts. The discussion surrounded Obama’s dwindling advantage with women voters.

Van Jones is a regular political contributor to CNN. But other than Borger jokingly suggesting Jones “find better adjectives” to describe Romney, nothing else was said. No apology was made.

This is all on CNN, not Jones.

It’s also on Barack Obama — a look into the type of people he appoints to important White House “Czar” positions.

Van Jones was just being Van Jones — a leftist flamethrower who hurls vitriol like few others. But this is what happens when the left-wing media attempts to take these radicals and normalize their extreme views.

Rank this moment as number 13,458 to explain why CNN’s ratings have collapsed.
