Not Newtown: White House Won't Comment On Need For Regulation To Prevent Next 'House Of Horrors'

At Monday’s press briefing, Fox News Channel’s Ed Henry asked Jay Carney if President Obama would ask congress for new regulations on abortion clinics in light of the “House of Horrors” murder trial of Kermit Gosnell in Philadelphia.

After the horrible massacre of innocent children in Newtown in December, President Obama marshaled all of his resources and political clout to try to push for new gun legislations under the premise that “If even one child’s life can be saved, then we need to act.”

Carney deflected Henry’s question and said the White House would not comment on hypothetical legislation in reaction to the case.  He would only say “the President’s position on choice is very clear.”
