Guardian Reporter: Snowden Files Could Become 'Worst Nightmare' for U.S.

Guardian reporter Glenn Greenwald warned in a Saturday interview that National Security Agency (NSA) leaker Edward Snowden controls documents that could become America’s “worst nightmare” if exposed.

“The U.S. government should be on its knees every day begging that nothing happen to Snowden, because if something does happen to him, all the information will be revealed and it could be its worst nightmare,” said Greenwald.

The journalist added, “Snowden has enough information to cause harm to the U.S. government in a single minute than any other person has ever had.”

Greenwald has published several bombshell articles based on top-secret NSA documents Snowden provided him that detail the NSA’s vast information-gathering operations.

U.S. officials are looking to detain Snowden, who is thought to be at the Moscow airport and seeking asylum in Venezuela.
