Former NBC News Anchor Joining Al Jazeera

Former NBC News anchor John Seigenthaler has been announced as the new anchor for Al Jazeera America’s evening newscast, which starts August 20.

Siegenthaler said of his hiring,”I’m proud to join a respected worldwide news organization that is committed to delivering high quality, objective and balanced investigative journalism.
