MSNBC's Harris-Perry Apologizes to Romney Family

Using her verified Twitter account, MSNBC anchor Melissa Harris-Perry tweeted out an apology to the Romney family Tuesday. “I am sorry. Without reservation or qualification,” Perry wrote. “I apologize to the Romney family.”

During Harris-Perry’s Sunday MSNBC show, Mitt Romney’s adopted baby grandson Kieran was turned into an object of ridicule based only on the fact that he is black.

Harris-Perry’s guests attacked the child as a token and sang, “One of these things doesn’t belong here.”

Harris-Perry had asked her panel to caption a photo of the Romney family.
