'Breitbart News Sunday' on Sirius XM 125: 2014: Economy; Immigration, Permanent Political Class

On Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 from 7 PM to 10 PM EST, Breitbart News Executive Chairman and host Stephen K. Bannon will discuss the GOP establishment’s war against the Tea Party, how lobbyists are profiting from amnesty, and how the institutional left is trying to turn Texas “blue” or “purple.” Breitbart’s Brandon Darby will be in-studio and will co-host the program to discuss these issues in addition to the illegal immigration and the Drug Cartel War on the U.S.-Mexico border.

FreedomWorks senior fellow Tom Borelli and Breitbart News’ Matthew Boyle will discuss a recent investigative report in the New York Times about how former Rep. Steven LaTourette (R-OH), a leader in the GOP establishment’s war against the Tea Party movement and a close ally of House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), may be engaged in illegal activity. Specifically, the Times article questions whether LaTourette may have broken a law that bans former members of Congress from lobbying for a full year after they leave office. While LaTourette is not a registered lobbyist, various activities that he engaged in over the course of the past year suggest he may have broken the rules. Boyle will also discuss a report in Breitbart News detailing how lobbyists in “Boomtown” are banking on amnesty to pad their profit margins in 2014.

Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large and Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer on the preeminent expert on crony capitalism in the country, will be on a segment called “Extortion 2014” in which he will discuss how lawmakers may seek to extort contributions and benefits from industries and citizens in the new year. Schweizer has already said lawmakers in Congress use the tax code and “extenders” to milk industries for favors and contributions.

Breitbart News Managing Editor Wynton Hall will preview seven facts about the minimum wage that have Democrats worried.

Michael Pack, who has directed documentaries like The Last 600 Meters, on the battles of Najaf and Fallujah in Iraq, and Rediscovering George Washington and Rediscovering Alexander Hamilton, will be on the show to discuss the meaning and long-term significance of Fallujah.

Hunter Lewis, Founder and Chairman of Cambridge Associates will be on the program to discuss Janet Yellen, the Federal Reserve, and the economy.

Mitch Horowitz will be on the program to discuss his new book “One Simple Idea: How Positive Thinking Reshaped Modern Life.”

Breitbart’s Jarrett Stepman will be on the program to discuss the coming Viking Apocalypse “Ragnarok” and a heroic WWII veteran who flew through the Eiffel Tower who died in a VA hospital this week.

Bannon hosts the weekly three-hour program that helps sets the next week’s news cycle.
